About ∅

A small studio that ships working systems.

Nihilo Solutions is principal-led and based in Fairfield, Connecticut. Three people who scope the work, build it, and support it afterwards. There is no layer between you and whoever is doing the job.

Most small businesses have had a version of the same experience. An agency sold a discovery phase, produced a strategy document, and disappeared into a build that arrived late and did not quite work. Or a freelancer built something decent and then became unreachable. Or a platform was bought on a monthly subscription and turned out to assume the business worked some other way.

We built Nihilo to be the opposite of that, and the structure is the argument. A studio of three cannot hide behind process. The person who quotes your project is the person who builds it, and the same person is still there when something breaks in month four.

We sell working systems, not slide decks.

That means the deliverable is always a live thing: a site that loads fast and tells a visitor what to do, a follow-up system that answers at 10pm on a Sunday, a workflow that runs whether or not anyone remembers it. If a piece of work would produce a document rather than a system, we would rather not sell it to you.

It also means we say no more often than most studios. There are projects we are wrong for, and the useful thing we can do in that case is tell you on the first call rather than three weeks into an engagement.

How we work

  • Fixed scope, fixed price. Agreed in writing before anything starts. If you ask for something outside it, we quote it rather than quietly absorbing it or quietly billing for it.
  • You own everything. Domain, hosting, code, data, documentation, and every login. Nothing we build stops working if you stop paying us.
  • Speed with a reason. Projects run in weeks because scope is decided up front and reviews happen at set points, not because anyone is cutting corners at the end.
  • Plain language. You should not need a technical vocabulary to understand what you bought, what it does, or what changed this month.
  • We use what you already pay for. Connecting to your existing CRM, email, and scheduling tools beats a migration nobody asked for.

Why we build our own products too

Alongside client work the studio builds and runs its own software, including Stowed, an inventory and order app for small wholesalers. It is not a case study and we are not going to present it as one. It matters for a simpler reason: we live with the consequences of our own decisions about reliability, support, and what happens when something fails at an inconvenient hour. That tends to change how you build for other people.

The principals.

Three people. You will deal with all of them at some point, and with the same one throughout the build.

Ish Pandhal

Principal · Growth

Owns growth and works with clients on the demand side of what we build: how the offer is framed, how inquiries are captured, and what actually gets a response. Also the other half of the discovery calendar, so there is rarely a wait for a first conversation.

What we will not do.

Worth stating plainly, because it is usually what people find out too late.

01

Invent results

You will not find fabricated case studies, borrowed logos, or invented percentages anywhere on this site. When we have client results worth publishing, they will be published with permission and with the method attached.

02

Sell you AI you do not need

Automation is worth buying where a task is repetitive, frequent, and currently done by a person who has better things to do. Where it is not, we will tell you, even though the other answer pays better.

03

Hold your business hostage

No proprietary platform you cannot leave, no accounts held in our name, no monthly fee that exists only to keep your own website online. Everything is handed over and documented at launch.
